Has anyone else noticed a post count fluctuation?? Because mine is doing funky things…
A week ago it stated I had 668 posts, and now it’s saying I only have 645. Does that have something to do with the ‘archive’ function or something??

It’s like this: Toward the end of every year, December usually, Dale and Rich sit down with the six Chiff & Fipple interns and sift through all the posts of the past 12 months. Everything that is stupid or unfunny gets taged, and your post-count is reduced by that number. The point is not to let people get away with swelling their post counts with boring, stupid, or otherwise dull posts. I think you must have done pritty well, if they dropped you less than twenty-five posts. Personally, I expect to be down to somewhere around 300 by the end of the month. :roll:

Some of the posts count fell in the Bermuda Triangle (between Yahoo pain-insula and Key-in Hotboards), during The Great Thanksgiving Diaspora.
Or there’s a worm on Chiffboard feeding on posts.
Maybe the cold, dry weather is causing posting records to shrink a little.
Well, six weeks since first hatching and I’m down to just two live adult sea-monkeys. However these two randy sorts have been getting it on, and I’ve just noticed a whole bunch of teeny full stops swimming about in the tank (actually a submarine), so I guess I have a new generation of monkeys now.
I sang Karaoke for only the second time ever on Friday, and this time I was sober, and scared witless. I sang Back in the USSR, and Love Letters, for a bit of contrast. I exited via the gents toilet window, and dare not show my face in Whitechapel for a couple of years.
Boy, do I live a rich and exciting life. Bloomy’s just jealous.
