Possible move to Cary, NC. Any whistle teachers out there?

 Hi all,

This is just a little research on whistle teachers in the Raleigh/Durham area. We are hoping to move back to the area.

Paula

I think Rob Sharer still teaches
whistle if you ask real nice.

Welcome back, if you get here.
Drop by the sessions and say hi.

Oh, I think I just realized who you
inherited that Abell whistle from,
then.

Probably do. And you are??

Hi all,

It’s official, we will be back in NC by summer. I plan to get back into Irish dance and try to get some help with the whistle. :open_mouth: Yippeeeee!

 Hi all,

We are finally back in Durham, NC AND in our old house. Wow, huh? I have had the awesome opportunity to meet Eric Hahn in Raleigh. He is an awesome whistle player and has helped so much. I am looking for more whistle venues in the area. I know Raleigh seems to be the gravitational place and it is just a bit far for me to go often. Are there any venues in Durham, Chapel Hill areas?

I just heard about a new session on Wednesday nights
at Kildare’s Irish Pub in Chapel Hill from 6:30 to 8:30.

Given the management at Kildare’s, you might want to
start going sooner rather than later and make some
connections, for it might not last too long. I hope a
few UNC or Duke students find it. The James Joyce
session in Durham was pretty good when it existed.

Hi,

I don’t see it on their calender. Maybe it’s already gone.

Most restaurants barely maintain their websites.
I only posted the site for the address. I heard
the session occurred last night despite the calendar.

Anyway, it’s so new it probably isn’t even on the
employees’ radar.

Oh ok cool.
