Polka set references

Hello guys,

anyone of you have some references about the polka set played by Jerry O’Sullivan at Trinity Church some years ago? I found 2 of 3 polkas: the first one is sweeneys and the last one is john ryan’s. The second one should be the pipe in the valley but I can’t find any reference of it.
Can you help me, please?

Stay warm…
Paolo

There’s an email address is on his website…if we’re talking about the same man? info@jerryosullivan.com

The website’s not updated but someone might pick it up.

Hi Mark, yes we are talking about the same man
Unfortunately a few months ago I have send 2 emails to him but I have not received answer yet.

Anyway thank you for your reply.
All the best.

I found the tune in my files as Galway Belle. It was the same tune, only with a different 2nd ending. In the recording, I had the title as “Piper In the Valley”; I could have mis-heard that, however.

Here’s my take on the tune:

X:499
T:Galway Belle, The
T:Piper In The Valley
R:polka
N:Called Piper In The Valley in Jerry O’Sullivan’s Trinity Church concert.
Z:Bill Reeder
M:2/4
L:1/8
K:Emin
