Just a note to say that my site (http://irishflute.podbean.com) seems to have gone. I had a wallet stolen and had to cancel credit cards, one of which was linked to my subscription to the flute tunes site. The change to the new card seems to have killed the site.
Many of you probably won’t know what I’m on about but I know some people have been looking at the site. It seems that looking for it is easier than looking at it at present.
If it ever comes back than I’ll post an update. If it doesn’t, I’ll get full of drink and start another one when the hangover goes.

Podbean have recovered the site for me. Thanks for all the encouraging comments when I thought it had been permanently lost.
What a drag! Can you contact the “Podbean Provider” and see if it is arcived? You put some quality time into that, it would be a shamed to loose so many good tunes.
Thanks Jon. I’ve sent them about ten emails. Any dealings I had with them up to now were fine so there is still a glimmer of hope. The glimmer might just be caused by my palpitations.
This really stinks because I was using your site to learn new tunes…great arrangements and wonderful playing…please let us know when you get it back up
In the meantime, could you post some clips on the C&F site- it’s the first sticky on the flute forum- titled Posting Clips, I think. You’ll be everybody’s best friend again.
That’s horrible! It’s awful having to sort through all of the red tape of closing accounts and notifying everyone. I hope it goes smoothly for you, and that they catch the creep that stole your wallet. From a selfish perspective, it’s awful that your site is down. I love your website! Your site is REALLY fantastic for hearing and learning great tunes. Good luck with getting it back up and running.
Hi Mary. I’m not sure what time it is in podbean land. I don’t even know where they are. My hope is that they went home for the weekend before the erasers came out. If it doesn’t come back, I still have the tunes on my computer and I could put them on to CDs and send them to you. I’ll have a bit of fun, maybe, setting up a new site too. I can maybe try losing a few of the dodgier clips too.
Oh that is such a shame! I know how much work it takes to do something like that. To redo it…Oh man. I hope they just turned you off but didn’t delete your site altogether. Perhaps they’ll have a back-up somewhere. At least you still have all the original recordings, right? If not, I bet we all have a lot of them downloaded and could send you some.
Just a note to say that Podbean.com have been able to get my flute tunes site back. I had received an email saying it was being deleted but this must have been an automatically generated one. Once a human being read the half a million onnes I sent them last night, they were able to fix the problem for me before anything was permanently removed.

Have you considered the possiblility of cutting some mp3 CD’s and selling them? There may be a good market for them here-I know I would buy a set. I have dial up, so it would take me forever to download your tunes, but to have them on a CD would be fantastic! I’m sure others would be interested as well.
Of course, Michael, you could just record another CD, although I admit you’ve been quite prolific with the website. The previous CD is a rarity, and we could do with fewer songs, more flute. Can I lend a hand?
