Can anyone identify the tune that starts playing on the Reyburn home page? The URL is below. Sounds like it’s in Em, played on a low D. As a plus if you know the song do you know where I can find the abc’s? Thanks
‘Autumn Child’ by Brendan O Regan. Lunasa play it followed by a reel called ‘Heatons Chapel’. The CD is ‘Lunasa’ Dont know where you can find the ABC but it is easy enough to learn by listening. The dots can be found here http://www.whistleworkshop.co.uk/autumn_child.htm#Autumnchild
No, that’s wrong.
The tune on the Reyburn page is The Humours of Tullycrine, aka Bobby Casey’s Hornpipe:

The main transcription there is in ADor, but there’s a EDor transcription in the Comments, as on the clip.

Yes sorry about that dunno why I thought it was that…must have been a freudian slip! and I should have known because Cormac Breatnach did a lovely rendering.
Thanks MTGuru…exactly what I needed. The clip on the Reyburn site was just beggin’ for a B part. With a quick listen I think I heard four parts. Very cool.
