Playing in C#/Db

Is anyone playing a C#/Db whistle?
I made a few bodies in different keys for my Burke D brass session, to see
what is possible and for the sheer fun experiencing different keys/pitches.
Now I find that I really like playing in C#, and I keep thinking:
this is how D should sound!
I also like the low pitched C: playing in key of B. But C# beats it.
Some places have sessions in Eb, but never in C#, I believe.
Although I hear from the pipers that sets in C# and B are popular.
These used to be called D and C in the olden days.
Only the pitch has crept up quite a bit in generally.
What is your experience with low pitch?

I was going to point out that baroque D is modern C#. I have several flutes with A415 and A440 midsections, and I never play those at modern pitch. So effectively I spend a lot of time playing in C#.
