and… there’s a sound file on Lark’s page.
..
bagpipes galore are advertising proper practice sets (not just mouth-blown chanters) in the current Irish Traditional Music magazine
i don’t think they’re on the website yet, and it be that there’s hardly anyone out there who has a set yet
I ordered just the chanter & bag 2 weeks ago while on vacation. They demonstrated the set in the shop. I was satisfied with the sound enough to spend approximately $120 for the inexpensive rubberised bag and the chanter. I have bellows from my SSPs which I like better than the ones they provide. It was my impression that they are making these sets themselves. This is all I can contribute at this time. After the chanter arrives, I will provide additional feedback.
Let us know if they look a lot like the rosewood, mouthblown sets on e-bay for ~$60 with a new windcap.

They are made of the same plastic? material as their own practice chanters and smallpipe chanters.
Ahh.. Okay. Let us know what you think of them, then.
