Just a reminder about the tionol at this year’s CelticFest:
The tionol’s only two weeks away, so everyone needs to get thier RSVP’s in as soon as possible if you’re planning on coming.
The tionol will be held at the CelticFest festival, and will be taught by Tim Britton, who is also headlining at the festival. The dates are September 10-11, 2005. What is the fee for the tionol?
The cost for the Tionol is $75, and that includes your admission to the festival (which is a really great festival - not too big, but some really, really good music here!)
Refreshments will be provided during the tionol.

I was there in 94 at Hal and Mal’s and had an absolutley great time!! I’m trying to get there again
how has the Hurricane affected this event status?
If they get power back in Jackson within a week or so, we’ll probably have that update.
I had a great time at the CelticFest. Thanks to the organizers and to Scott and Aimee for the accommodations. Nice small town community atmosphere. Zillions of people dancing at the Ceili (sp?) on Saturday night. Great shrimp at the Crawdad Hole!
Tim Britton is a brilliant teacher and I was fortunate to spend two days with him and two other pipers, Ray and James.
A couple of bands I thoroughly enjoyed: a couple of guys from the Fuchsiaband from Cork, who are visiting the US for a couple of months, and will be in LA later this month, and the Tea Merchants from Austin.
