What’s the word on carrying pipes transatlantic-fashion…?
I’m thinking small, soft case small enough for carry-on, bubble wrap. Case & instrument will have to follow me around while I’m there.

Last Monday I went through and pruned out all the links on the FAQ page that didn’t work. I just rechecked the page again and all links on it are working fine.

My hard case weighs a ton, so I don’t take it overseas. I’ve had no trouble using a soft-sided tenor sax case and bubble wrap to protect the individual components. Security folk always ask what it is, but as soon as I say “bagpipes!” they let them through. I always offer to play a tune. They always turn me down. Wonder why…![]()
