The Pipers’ Gathering at Killington is only FIVE WEEKS AWAY! On-line registration closes on July 31st, after which you will only be able to register at the event.
There are some changes to our lineup of instructors. Read on.
Each year, we set our initial roster of instructors based on past registrations for the various workshops and each year we have to make changes as the current registrations roll in. This year is no exception. Here is the final list of instructors for this year’s Pipers’ Gathering. We believe it to be one of the strongest teams we have ever assembled and we are grateful to all the world-class players who have agreed to teach at this year’s event. All that is needed now is for YOU to come and take advantage of all they have to offer!
Border Pipes: Tim Cummings, Dan Houghton.
Scottish small pipes: E. J. Jones, Jim McGillivray, Laura MacKenzie.
Flute and Whistle: L.E. McCullough, John Skelton
Northumbrian small pipes: Ian Lawther, Anthony Robb
Uilleann pipes: Brian McNamara, Bill Ochs, Anthony Santoro
English pipes: Jon Swayne
We are especially happy to welcome John Skelton and L.E. McCullough to head up the whistle and flute classes and Tim Cummings on Border pipes. This has allowed the multi-talented Laura McKenzie and E.J. Jones to respond to extra registrations from Scottish small pipe players. As you may already know, our long-time whistle instructor, Andrea Mori, underwent surgery recently and we wish her well in her recovery.
If you have already registered, we thank you for your support. If you still haven’t decided whether to attend this year’s event, it’s time to say YES – you know you will regret it if you don’t.
Registration and lodging information and forms are available on our website at http://www.pipersgathering.org
T-SHIRT PRE-ORDER DEADLINE
If you’re planning to register and want to order a t-shirt, please do so no later than Saturday, July 24th. Our T-shirt production is based on pre-order numbers and we’ll have limited inventory on hand at the event.
