Pipers Club (Seattle) website changed

Same address but much spiffier looking. Blogged, too.

Also has this dread message, June 27:

Well, we’ve got a new executive board:

Tom Creegan, President
Rod Margason, VP
Wall Charm, Treasurer
Judy Webster, Secretary

All bound to serve until next year’s elections. I can tell that the campaigning
is already beginning for next year.

Tom > has also volunteered to take over the Piper’s Review as Wally steps out of
the editor role.

“Add some pep to yer writin’, had to delete five paragraphs ya f**k yez!”

Its a very nice looking home page. I hope the Review retains it top quality production and excellent content.

What happened to the old content? There were some good articles there, which don’t seem to be findable from the homepage anymore…

True.

However, it’s all still accessible at:

http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.irishpipersclub.org/

The complete Pipers’ Review archive is available here (members only): http://uilleannforum.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=7

The whole “articles” subdirectory has been removed, which means any links to the following articles are now dead:

A One of a Kind B Flat Set
The Making of a Champion
Elder: A Traditional Material for Making Pipe Reeds
An Interview with Joe McKenna
William Kennedy: Blind Pipemaker
Flat Sets: “Vive la difference!”
A Conversation with Eric Rigler
Leaks and Squeaks
Taylor Sets

I sure hope this is fixed, since some of those articles are important community resources (and were freely available to non-members).
