I will be in Phoenix area from wed. through sun morning this week… i know, last minute stuff here… but i have some interviews with the subject of a book and a wedding.
Anyone want to get together for some tunes? Ideally, thursday would be good. I will have a car and can travel from my hotel in Scottsdale to whereever the fun is.

I haven’t been there, since I live in far east Mesa, but I usually attend the Sunday session at Fibber Magee’s.

The Wednesday session may not happen this week, as the Presidential debate is at ASU the same night, which is only about two miles down the road. Drop me a PM sometime Wednesday and I can tell you for sure, I play in a band with the guy that runs it.
The Wed. session is more of a singing and social session with tune sets, the one on Sundays is primarily tune sets. Both are very friendly to beginners as well.

I forgot about the debate being so close. I used to work in that area so I’m pretty familiar with it and I would hate to be driving around there on Wednesday night, let alone someone from out of town!
