Phil Hardy Low Whistle Tutorial DVD?

G’day All!

So, the title says it all, I guess, Has anyone here used or seen the low whistle tutorial DVD from Kerry Whistles/Phil Hardy? If I read his site right it came out last year. I’ve done a search but came up with zilch.

I’m hoping to ‘go low’ sometime in the not-too-distant, and wondered if this dvd might be useful.

Haven’t purchased the DVD yet, but I can tell you Phil Hardy is a fantastic instructor on the low whistle. He has several beginning video clips on his Kerry Whistle page that will do an adequate job of getting you started. I would mention as well that the Chieftain V3 fixed low D is unequaled in sound and performance. This is the whistle you will want to learn on.

Thanks! I’ve seen the vids on his website, and was mostly wondering if the dvd had sufficient extra content to be worth diverting money from the whistle fund :laughing: I do like his whistles, and the Chieftain, up to V4 now, is one I’ve been looking at and listening closely to. I’ll probably go with a Dixon polymer first up, but the Chieftain is top of the list for the next low D :wink:
