peanut sauce

I have some peanut sauce (which was bought long before the peanut butter scare, don’t worry) and I want to cook with it.

Problem: I have never cooked with it. I also have two bags of frozen “Oriental stir fry.” Can this go together? If so, how?

Also, when I cook I will be feeding it to two vegetarians, one diabetic, and one Muslim.

Do what my wife does. Just mix everything in a skillet, turn the stove top burner on high, and go into another room and forget about it. When the smoke alarm goes off, rush into the kitchen and take care of the blackened mess. Sorry. I’m being sarcastic again.

Yes, you can just toss it in the stir fry.

Nothing in there that should bother a Muslim, but check the ingredients…the sugar content (look for total carb content, as well as actual sugars) may be too high for a diabetic, and if it’s a Thai sauce it may contain fish, which would be inappropriate for the vegetarians.

First thing to do is make sure none of your guests are allergic to peanuts.

They’re not.

If you can get hold of some fresh chard, it’s delicious stir fried with peanut sauce.
good luck–
