There was just a special about a flute player from Cambodia who made it through the Khmer Rouge because he played communist songs for them. It was quite touching seeing as I just got back from Cambodia and I play traditional flute (Irish though). It’s a wonderful documentary about him trying to get traditional Khmer music back into Cambodia as many of the teachers died in the Khmer Rouge. Here’s a link to it
