Parlor Pipes?

Well, I must admit that this seems like a bit of poor way to start on this forum, but I have a question about Lark in the Morning’s parlor pipes. Anyone have any experience with either of these?

They look like cheap Pakistani (how does one refer to such things?) um, instruments, but then pics can be deceiving.

If they are junk, any recommendations for where to get good parlor pipes? (Mouth or bellows blown is acceptable.) Thanks.

Those are definitely products from Pakistan. Even if the craftsmanship isn’t totally shabby, the overall acoustic design is off the mark.

Are you looking for a Smallpipe sound?

Went and fgot more info. Now I know what I’m listening to. I’m interested in both the smallpipe and border pipe sounds. Any reccomendations for a good maker?

Yes. Rory’s recorded with both Hamish Moore and the Morrison/MacCallum reelpipes.
