so is the ralph sweet whistle still for sale? also…
Could you maybe post some clips of it?
What’s the O-Ring for on the Sweetheart?
Are you trying MTGuru’s O-ring tweak that far from the windway? ![]()
Sweetheart flutes and whistles come with those O-rings… They’re actually nice to mark where “in tune” is…

10-4 the sweet heart is for sale --------the O-ring is for tuning, it is a great whistle ------sweetheart makes , I think one of the best------ i have a Copeland and many clarkes , which i love------i have bee making Native american flutes lately and my time has been in this area
no , i tried that before —it did not seem to work for me (other whistles)
------besides i have a house ------NO REASON FOR ME TO BE QUIET ![]()
I’m pretty sure I used to own that very whistle (I sold one to cavefish last
year). It was decidedly absent any O-Rings when it left my house, so I
assumed it was aftermarket, if you will… Good point about the tuning
measurement.
I bought the whistle at a discount from the Sweets because they didn’t
think the colors of the two halves matched perfectly (honestly, I couldn’t
tell). Now cavefish is passing the savings on to you! It sounds great, and
it’s as cheap as free! Someone should snap it up!
yep. it has played well and I added the O-ring ----i guess they come with them now-------

Yeah, I guess you’re ahead of the curve.
I do see the O-Rings in the pictures on the Sweetheart site now.
The Sweet Dymondwood whistle I bought several years ago had the O-rings so I’m pretty sure it’s not a recent addition.
