Wow that blue one is so cool! I wonder how durable that finish is- it would be a shame if it got all scratched up banging about at sessions.

The anosiding is protected by a teflon coating so it is quite strong in resisting scratches, unless you hit or scratch it with a hard sharp edged something there is not a lot that happens to the surface.

the dark blue is our favorite colour

That blue one is a stunner! Hmmm, I can’t justify having a plain one and a blue one can I?!!

Did anyone notice the CASE that comes with this whistle? Dang, a pub weapon in and of itself!!!

My problem with the listings was that the pictures are not clear and there is nothing really being shown that these are not copies.

The standard non anodised has a stamped and information that it is signed b by Colin in 2001. The blue one is one of Colin’s for sure, if I am not mistaken by the shade of the colour and as it is in the UK it maybe one from autumn 2005. This blue does not always turn out this dark, it is basically a matter of seconds longer in the dye that can make a difference from dark to night blue.

Thanks for that insight Brigitte. The makers would be the best for identifying thier own creations!
