Warning: Loren, you may not want to read this as it could prove to be painful.
A few weeks ago I accidently dropped my Copeland whistle in the driveway as I was unloading the car at night. It landed right on the beak, of course. The damage was mostly cosmetic, but devastating nonetheless.
I sent out an email to Copeland inquiring about a repair. I feared it would take months and months. Within a day I had a response from Copeland. I sent the whistle off and had it back in less than 2 weeks. The charge was very reasonable and the whistle is back to 100%.
I can’t belive you did that to my…er, your whistle! Yeah, you’re right, that smarts…even though the whistle is no longer mine. Still I guess all’s well that ends well, right? If you drop it again however, I may sneak in and repo it in the middle of the night, heh heh.
Now, is there anyone else out there who wants to fess up to abusing any of my former whistles? Confess now and it’ll go easier for you…
