When I tried to get into Yahoo Groups, this evening, it took a very long time. When I finally did get in, it said I am not a member of any Groups. I was intending to do my moderator duties in one of them.
Anyone else having trouble with Yahoo Groups? I wonder if their whole system was messed up by the traffic that was downloading Chiffy Christmas tunes from Alan’s Briefcase. 
Walden, I think there are some difficulties over at Yahoopoops as some other people on some lists I belong to are saying the same thing-- some of their groups aren’t showing, etc. Probably just a temporary glitch.

Yeah, I checked in, after I posted here, and it said the database was down.
As I mentioned last night, SBC DSLYahoo customers temporarily lost their "membership"until they updated their software. I was cussin’ when I thought they had chucked my Briefcase files etc. After updating, I was able to regain my profile and access to various Yahoo groups. But my home page disappeared and I had to re-log to enter their domain. Multiply all those log-ins and you get the idea.
It was very unexpected and I imagine a lot of people are online and upset. They also drew new distinctions of photos versus briefcase, which I don’t quite fathom yet. Stuff like that causes access problems.
Y Groups is up and running now. I can get into my groups.
