I think we have one of California’s only “hippy hold-outs” left in the country.
And what a coincidence…Jim McGuinn, the owner, is Irish and is the one
responsible for giving me my first “Bothy Band” albums, which was
responsible for this terrible affliction I’ve acquired, which eventually led
to a life of irreversible despair with the UPs. He first petitioned the city
for another name, “Hot Shit Records” but the council denied him the
business licence under that name.
