Our power has been out for 24 hours!
Sunny LA with gusty winds 60 plus miles and hour! It was nice and sunny today, but what a mess!
It was funny driving around and seeing the people out walking the dog and just standing out in front of there houses enjoying life for the first time. (No TV because of power failure!)I think more people would get into making music if they didn’t have the boob tube going all the time!

I agree! I don’t really mind power outages much, because I’m perfectly happy playing my whistle or reading by candlelight…if my hubby and kid didn’t go stir crazy, I don’t think it would bother me much at all.
We got a bit of that wind last night, but fortunately not enough to knock power out this go 'round.

Some winter, huh? We got about 2 feet of snow on Christmas, then another 20 inches a week later. Terrible for the Podiatry business, but lotsa extra whistlemaking time!
