Yeah, I remembered ol’ Bugs with that. 
At home, I use a Telezapper. It takes care of everything but local and long-distance domestic numbers. I let everyone important to me know that I screen my calls. If I’m home, I’ll pick up the phone for them. Otherwise, one, four rings, and zap. Nada.
The only telemarketers that can get through are local charity organisations, and those have proven to be spurious as far as I’m concerned. As the Soup Nazi said, “No soup for you!”
