On the subject of my Feline namesakes, this month Tiger Mountain opens at the Bronx Zoo. . .Lovely 4 acre enclosure for my Siberian counterparts.
Probably about the time that tiger figures out he’s a carnivore! 
I saw something about that particular facility on Animal Planet a while back. For some reason, they put all their tiger cubs on sows instead of leaving them with their mothers…they’ve got some idea that pig milk will make them grow better, or at least that’s the story. Weird. Makes for cute photo ops, though!

I kinda doubt it. The tiger’s 19 months old, and those piggies are way younger than that. I think it’s an imprinting thing and the kittie may forever after think piggies aren’t food.
