OT: Sneakers

Footnotes?

Jef

 I love you guys! Hoorah for randomness.
I can’t post a picture of my own battered sneakers, but here’s the link for a band called “Slippery Sneakers” (it came up on Google when I searched under “sneakers”).

The guy all the way on the right sure is stylin’.
Edited to say: I meant no offense to anyone who has a mustache, or who wears shimmery shirts, by my last remark.

Jim, they look great!!! Thank you for posting a picture! Do you have a “full length” picture of him wearing them? How do they fit?

For those that don’t know, Jim “won” these sneakers from me on an Ebay auction…but I did not forget the kindness shown to me from people on this board, and gave him a discount.

I think Chuck Taylors are the most comfortable sneakers!! We all have a pair in our family…my boys have several pairs!

Ah, so there was reason behind the randomness! Congrats on the win, Jim.

Thanks, Kim!

I love Chucks also. I’ve mentioned before that I still have my green high tops from high school (circa 1977). Now my older son wants a pair. When we get around to it, I’ll post a pic of the three of us wearing them.

Oh, yes. They’re just a smidge too big, but by the time the snow melts, I’m sure they’ll fit.

That’s my son Tim, age 4 (4 and a half, he would correct me).

Hello Jim:

Are you up for the traditional Neo-Bavarian cuisine tomorrow night? Say 5:45’ish?

Tom D.

Can’t think of anything wurst I’d rather do.

Here’s a picture of my kids with their red Chucks on…

And here I am with my navy Chucks standing beside a grill my parents found in pieces on the road by their house. I brought it home, cleaned it up and re-assembled it and it works great! I call it “Road Grill”.
