To put a signature on your posts (yes I know you put the content of the sig in your profile), do you have to remember to check the “Show Signature” box every time you post or is there a default somewhere to always have your signature appended to your message?
As nearly as I can tell, you have to check the “show signature” box every time.

You can also go to your profile and check a box that says something like “automatically add signature to every post.”
Edit: Oops, said profile, meant preferences. And my parents tell me I have awhile to wait for “senior moments.”

Hm, my profile doesn’t have that box. The only check box it has says “Allow other users to view my Email Address”
Beth, Go to “edit your preferences”. I believe the box to check is there. ![]()

It’s in “Edit Your Preferences”

Hi Beth,
If you create a signature in “Edit Profile” you can then select Yes to show sig. every time in “Edit Your Preferences”

AvaNut:
Even if you check that box you will still have to hit “Show Signature” if are not logged in as you type your post.
