OT: Perl gurus?

I apologize for posting this here, but are any of you Perl gurus? I’m trying to help out the opportunities programs at my university (translation = no pay) and I have an impossible problem with a Perl program – impossible as in it cannot be doing what it does. I’m a good debugger but I am stumped.

Heh..that’s why I gave up on learning Perl: Because in 3 months you go back and try to modify your program and…well…and the best you can figure out is that you were trying to make an ascii drawing of camel vomit.
