Jack did indeed teach the other Weekender, who is a great natural cook and will remember, how to make the strudel. Its a basic recipe, which could be enhanced with nuts, etc etc.
Sooo, I suppose all future Bay Area whistle gatherings should feature this, what with at least two known preparers nearby. Hi quality vanilla ice cream would complement it.
The hardest part of the recipe would be making the dough, and since its available storebought, not an unreasonable request.
