OT-Mulvihill's on "Shadows..."

I can not find the proper version of “Mulvihill’s” that precedes ‘Wallop the Spot’ on Matt Molloy’s Shadows on Stone. Any suggestions, as all the versions I find on Tune DB and the session are not the versions on that album.

thanks,

James posted the ABC for this jig a while back, here is one link:

Give this a try.

Thanks Mark!

Here’s a simpler transcription of the tune…listening to Molloy play it I’m not sure which bits are the basic melody and which are his variations, but this comes close to what I think it would sound like stripped fairly clean:

X: 1
T:Charlie Mulvihill’s Jig
M:6/8
L:1/8
K:Bmin
R: double jig

James’s version is closer to being an actual transcription of what Molloy is playing (breaths and all!), whereas mine just aims for the bare melody with some minor variations in both parts.

Thanks Brad!

Much easier to read and I suspect to play when I get around to learning it, even though tried listening and playing along (TRYING!) with Molloy’s CD.
