OT more fires

We got lightening, but no rain, so there’s a bunch more fires near here. Whistles ready to go, and so I am…will let you guys know as I find out! Wonder if this is a moral judgement on Deadwood…maybe we’ll hear the Ump holler “Steeeee-rike three!” Ya think?

I hope everything goes alright. We had a forest fire across road from our house once, and that was very scary… My roof and my neighbors roof is shake cedar shingles… We were both manning water hoses and stuff. Not fun, and quite scary at times.

Good luck, and I again, wish everything will turn out ok.

We got some rain! We got some rain! Fire’s out! Yay!

Wonderful!!

Anna

Glad to hear it passed, but it ain’t ol’ Ma Nature just out to get you folks in the badlands. From what I see in the news every day, everything west of the Mississippi is either burning or being eaten by hordes of grasshoppers.

Meanwhile, we’re sliding into something that looks awfully like the beginnings of the last 50 year drought - the one in 1999-2000.

But hey, there’s no such thing as global warming, right?

Ma Nature has not been nice to us this year! However, I hear grasshoppers are pretty good after being fried golden brown in a wok! I’ve seen the little buggers literally eat a wooden pitchfork handle. Eat more beans, people, we need to make more methane before we run out of natural gas.
