Now Today, its hear.
Luckey for me, a cheap mandolin just busted my budget for a while (Christina said that I just removed 3 guests from our reception list). I’m having a blast with a mandolin right now, I’m using Kieran Hanrahan’s Banjo lessons from Scoiltrad to learn the Mandolin (my banjo needs 4 new gear tuners as the old pegs are too lazy to get me through a tune). I’m finding it is great to learn an instrument by ear from the start.
So I’ll ride this stringed wave of enthusiam for a while before I pick up the free reeds again. Nice to know it’s there, though. To me the Concertina is one of the least intuitive instruments around; although harmonica players might disagree with me but sometimes they find it strange to find that the one way air flow of the whistle is not that intuitive.
I might pick up that Concertina tutorial in late Summer some time.
