Jerry O Sullivan is unfortunately unable to teach this term, he assures us that he will be back to you all next term. In the meantime we are lucky to have Joanie Madden of Cherish the Ladies to take over his classes this term.

Joanie Madden played at the Savannah Irish Festival this year with Gabriel Donohue. This was her first appearance at this festival. I hope Savannah asks her to come back next year. I missed it and kicked myself repeatedly when I read it in the newspaper just as they were performing for the second day. I will pay better attention next year.

I will be taking guitar class with Mary Coogan. After last weeks class we found our way down to the whistle class and played a tune or two together.

Kinda sorta. I’ve seen CTL 3 times (and met her afterwards), and have e-mailed her a few times other than that. I consider myself a huge fan, of course, considering that they have both my favorite whistle player and guitarist. In fact, Mary is probably the only guitarist my wife and I can say honestly that we love, and we’re talking about the person, not the playing. She’s on my list of top ten nice people I’ve ever met, and probably very near the top of the list.

OK, so I’m on a Dr. Phil kick, letting everyone know how I really feel about them. I guess I’d better shut up and get back to work. See ya later!
