I was more sad when they took Donohue off of MSNBC. My roomie and I would always watch it for the pure entertainment value. Oh well…

I was pretty frumious when they took Duffy’s Tavern off the radio. And I guess you’ve also noticed that Krazy Kat isn’t in the comic section of the paper any more.

OK, Ridseard, after the line you quoted above there was a little pause and then Archie says Oh, hello… Then I remember the next words as being “Miss Duffy” but I heard a clip of it the other day on the net and he says “Oh..hello Duffy”. I would have sworn it was “hello Miss Duffy”. What’s your recollection?

And how about those week nights too. The Great Gildersleeve (sp?), A Date with Judy and Henry Aldrich. They don’t make 'em like that any more.

I seem to recall “Hello Miss Duffy.” Not sure about “Hello Duffy.”

I remember all those radio shows. When I was a little kid we just had one radio in the house, and mom and dad and I would listen to it together every evening. When I was older I got my own radio, and broadened my listening to include a lot of late afternoon programs.

I’ll miss Connie Chung. I just wish CNN would get rid of their morning hosts, Paula Zahn, and her wet-behind-the-ears partner, Bill Hemmer. They’ve both been covering the war extensively, and I can hardly bear to watch them! :imp:
