Has anyone heard of a Hurdy Gurdy forum?
My hubby thinks it would be a cool
instrument to play along with me and my
Whistle.

If I’m not mistaken, the Scottish group “the Whistlebinkies” use hurdy gurdy on several sets.

There’s other info at, of course the WORLDTRAD site http://www.worldtrad.org , look under INSTRUMENTS->HURDY-GURDY. Links to construction, pictures, sound samples. Please let me know if you come across other useful sites to add to the links.
