There is a series of stories about Horton the Elephant, and in one of them, Horton sits on an egg for his bird friend. When the creature hatches, it is a little flying elephant.

I remember those old pictures of you cats. I seem to remember for some stupid reason there was some hoopla over them or something…
Anyway… the cat is still cute… I want to go home now and pet mine… oh well… 4 more hours!!

Well, this is technically a picture of my belly.
Naw, Luna is just figuring out how long the new human will be in learning to operate the can opener, front door or other cat-butler task. 
That cat just KNOWS! You can see it. Attention-stealer arrival imminent!

A nice little present all bundled up in fur. And claws, teeth, hiising, growling, biting… what a cat! Not another like her. I hope
I am in a wierd mood, 'cause in like a half hour I am done my job! (Of course I go back to school in january, which isn’t so good when tuition is $4200) I love my christmas present to the U of W
Dan reads Get Fuzzy. He loves it! But he doesn’t bring the Daily News home (he leaves it on the train) so I see it only sometimes (on his days off).
Luna does know. The baby kicked her once and woke her up. Hee hee. Sola knows, too.
She’s probably sitting there going: “If you are that hungry, why don’t you just eat something?”
Or maybe: “Geez, even I don’t sit around this much… you should go catch a mouse or something…”

Kitty is gorgeous.
Let’s just hope Luna will be as tolerant as my old cat Jack was when baby gets big enough to lie on top of her like a rolling pin and try to roll her out as if she were a pie crust.

Speaking of Horton and children. This just reminded me of a little stuffed Horton I was given to me by my sister when I went to the hospital as a child to feel better. The fact that I had just threw up on it was not important.. but Regardless, that was treasured childhood toy, and I still have it to this day, some 20 years later, and it is still intact It’s amazing what things are filled with memories over the years.
I hope and wish to you are your child all the best, and many fond memories

That was a really great pic, btw… I remember my cat Harley used to get totally freaked out when he’d be stretched out across my ever-expanding belly only to be kicked off by my rambunctious daughter in there.

Thanks Jessie, That was a picture of my sister’s new kitty, Azure. The picture doesn’t quite do justice to her. She has sparkling blue eyes and a pure white coat. These genetic cards stack up and she is totally deaf.
My sister and nephew couldn’t resist adopting her from the humane society. She is very loving, with a huge purr motor but no one wanted her because she is deaf.
She is now a happy member of a family of 3 indoor cats. One benefit of having a deaf kitty is that it’s easy to sneak up and take photos of her being cute.
