Even if you’re not hard-core MTB riders, this is the kind of bike to own, female or male, teen-age or grand-parent.
This will change your mind about bicycling If you thought MTB’s were uncomfortable, butts batting, neck-breaking, groin smashing MounTain Bitches.
And if you’re already a MTB fan, consider it’s unfair your SO having to lug your oversize overweight oblsolete clunker, when she’d need a fair handicap…
This is in magic class : a fully-suspended mountain bike, weighing no more than top-end rigid bikes a few year ago! This can turn off-road motorcyclists in pedalling fans, or make commuting a daily pleasure.
Give it to a teen-ager, and he’ll stop begging for a scooter.
I have two spinal discs shot, like absent, and ride MTB every day, because it’s fully-suspended.
If a beginner, don’t say it’s too good for you : the better the equipment (this being tops) the least maintenance you’ll need. You’re not poor enough to afford a cheap bicycle… Even if you know I’d never say some bikes suck*
*Well–off the record–road bikes actually do…

Just as a point of reference, I have over $2300. in this bike with the upgrades…
Zoob is correct, it’s a great bike for virtually anyone - Beginner to Racer, and once you ride a GOOD full suspension bike, you’ll NEVER go back to a hard tail, no way.

P.S. that is one sweet bike by the way. Puts my rockhopper comp to shame but that may be because the hopper has 3500 miles on it.
