A former co-worker sent me this and, ever curious, I did a quick Google search to see if Carlin really wrote it. Seems like he may have.

I would amend his line near the end, “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away,” to include that there is aren’t many better ways to take our breath away than by playing a whistle.
