Hey gang -
The biggest piece of my life-sale collection. I cleared this post with Dale, and if it results in a sale, the Chiff and
Fipple Piggy Bank will be receiving a large donation.
I need to sell my car before I leave on September 17th. I know, I am a procrastinator. If you are looking for
a great car and are local to me in Salt Lake City (“local” may vary depending on whether I could drive out
to your area and manage a way back home) or nonlocal and willing to deal with car shipping, this post will be
of interest to you.

This car is a 1998 Ford Taurus wagon, dark blue. I bought it in January 2000 in New York state with 32,800 miles. It
is fully paid off. It is currently registered in Washington state with a little under 92,000 miles. It has been well taken
care of, hauls an INCREDIBLE amount of stuff, gets good gas mileage and is very reliable. I can call on the word of
half a dozen Chiffers who have taken road trips in this car to confirm those details! It has seatbelts for eight - three
in the front (really two comfortably), three in the back and there is a folding rear-facing backseat for two.

The body is in great condition. Two small rust spots - on the driver door edge and just below the back window.
The only body repair it’s ever needed were a rear window replacement in 2000 (vandalism) and a replacement
passenger side mirror in 2003 (you may recall my “argument with a construction barrel” thread). No
accidents on my watch.
It retails for $7,500 according to blue book, and sells to private parties for about $4,000 - $4,500. I am asking
significantly less than that. Even if you are not in the market for a car right now, you can take advantage of
my time crunch, buy, and resell for a profit. You know I would be totally honest about any details concerning
the condition of this car.
Please contact me if you are interested. You can email (I can only get to it after work), PM (can usually access,
work allowing), or I would be happy to give you a phone call. I’m not sure if I am allowed to answer to questions
in the thread, I will leave that up to Dale if the issue arises.

Thanks for your interest.
