Found an interesting place while cruising through rec.music.celtic the other day. There’s a person who has some really nice desktop wallpapers with Celtic/Irish themes. It’s free. Comes in different sizes to fit your screen.

You could always print up lots of copies of a design and paste them to your wall. 
oooooooh, I thought, that’s nice - celtic wallpaper, I thought, yeah, I’ll have some of that… but why did it disapear from my screen the day after I’d put it there 
(following the online instructions of course…) anyone know???

If your computer crashes, it may forget which wallpaper you’ve chosen.
If you download the file, set the wallpaper and then move the file (something I am constantly doing) then the next time you start up your computer it will be gone from the screen.
Sometimes my computer hiccups and forgets that I set a wallpaper, and I have to go back in and reset it. Only takes a minute and I don’t know why it happens.
