Hi all,
I put out a call for a volunteer Cello player on a Recording forum I am on.
A guy volunteered his brilliant young step-son, and after several
e-mails I packed up the cd for him to practice playing along with and the sheet music for him to learn. His music teacher said she would
transpose it for the cello, and if the kid (only 10) couldn’t play it good enough, that she would do it for me. I was thrilled!
Then he e-mailed me the address label: they are in TAIWAN, the kid
and the teacher don’t even speak English, and HAVEN’T HEARD
European/American Christmas Carols!!!
Isn’t this funny???
So, if any one else wants to volunteer on any other special instrument,
let me know…and lets hope you live closer than 1/2 way around the
World!!!
