Happy Easter, everybody!

The picture doesn’t work for me. It just shows…a bunch of little shapes int the corner.
It’s not a picture, it’s a song. May not work if you don’t have Scortch, in which case, here’s a link to the words:

Is Scortch something you download?
Yup. It’s a freebie print/listen music program. Here’s the site to download it:

Happy Easter, Redwolf! Welcome back!
That’s a beautiful hymn. Thank you for sharing it, Redwolf.
Alleluia, He is risen indeed!
P. S. Glad to have you back with us, Redwolf.
Yeah, he is risen indeed! Christ ist erstanden! Here 's an rather unusual version of this old hymn: http://www.morris-open.de/tune.mp3
The whistle by the way is an Overton Low C.
Happy Easter, everybody!

Beautiful hymn, Claus! I love it with the Low C!
Mmmm…good eats indeed! I’ve been anticipating today’s feast since we started practicing the Tenebrae Responsories for Maundy Thursday. Pasta Primavera, baby peas in butter sauce, rosemary potatoes and blackberry crisp for dessert…yum!
To top the day off, I got an email this morning from Paul…my Busman is on its way!
Have a great day, everybody! It’s good to be back!

He is risen, indeed!
Amen, Redwolf, Mack, et. al…

A very happy day of resurrection to you all ![]()

I’m not a religious person, but I LOVE the Easter hymns. We listened to Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band’s “Sing lustily and with good cheer” this morning, which has a great version of “Jesus Christ is risen today.” That one, “He is risen,” and “Onward Christian soldiers” are all among my favorite hymns.
No No don`t do this to me Claus!! Who was that, what album, is there more. Where do I look???
Welcome back Redwolf I realy missed you. ![]()

My weekend is over and am eating my turkey and oyster dressing. Have sung 5 masses in the past days-Thursday noc, Friday noon, Saturday Vigil and 6Am and 10AM. But connected with a drummer who will accompany me with my new fife and drum book(penny whistle substituted for the fife!) Happy Easter !
Happy Easter!
Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Once he died our souls to save, Alleluia!
Where’s thy victory, boasting grave? Alleluia!
It’s from a CD called “Sonne bis Frosch 2” with music for circle dances (yes indeed) from children, that we recorded with Morris Open for “Verband Rheinischer Kindergottesdienst” (i.e. sunday school). It’s quite a weird mix of dance tunes, new songs, old hymns, canons … and is to be released 1st of May together with a book about these dances. A little more information and some of our more “regular” repertoire can be found on our group’s website http://www.morris-open.de. Still only in German, sorry!

Went to the vigil as usual last night, but as usual a joyful event. We had an outstanding cantor to do Exultet.
