I need the money and since all my other instruments are Burkes, it’s easier for me to have all from one maker. As you likely know, Pat O’Riordan has closed his waiting list, so this could be an unusual opportunity. It’s a great instrument and I hate to part with it, but my student loans dictate otherwise. When I was growing up, we lived in a shoebox, on the floor of a lake, and every day we had to go out and scrub the lakebed for 23 hours a day for sixpence a year. I’ll just sit back and watch this one; I already hace a Low G Traveler. If this is a Traveler, I can tell you that it (the G) IMHO is the class of an overall great line of whistles. Good luck guys.

Aw come on Loren, blow your savings and enter the fray. I’m gearing up for my daughter’s wedding so money at this point has no meaning for me…mainly because I seem to be out of it frequently. Ellen (wife) forced me to buy a new suit for it and all I could think was “there goes a Rose, a Copeland and a Burke”. Can’t understand why she got so upset when I offered to wear my kilt to the wedding.
If bidding gets to what I think it will, this fellow won’t have to sweat much (financially) next semester. Wonder if he has an Eammon Cotter flute he doesn’t need?
Hi guys, just thought I would jump in, as I have been after a decent low G.
Two 0’riordans sold on ebay just over a week ago one was a high D and the other was a low D, They looked the same as the G up for grabs on ebay, only smaller in the case of the high D and bigger in the low D, but the seller listed them as O’REARDANS AND NOT O’RIORDANS,the low D went for $ 280 and the high D went for $ 378, so maybe the low G HAS FOUND ITS PRICE???, oh yes I know I am hoping, I will be there watching if not bidding, unLess it goes for well under tHE $ 500 MARK.
I have a feeling you may be right on the $500 +, so many days left, so little dollars to spend. From all the reviews I have read O’riardans are
fantastic whistles, if there was no waiting time what would it cost to buy one, concert or traveller.
