My wife and I recently purchased much of a collection of musical instruments - she wanted the recorders and capped reeds. One thing I did get was a bright orange Perri whistle, which I gave to the senior musician on the Morris team I dance wth. I don’t think I had ever heard anyone play 3 octaves scale on a whistle before. He said it played very easily in the second register.

I think I would have been the better candidate. Let me take a few minutes to tell you WHY I would have been the better candidate and why my opponant wouldn’t have been…oh wait…nevermind. I’ve been watching too many debates I think

I’m beginning to think that the last shipment of discontinued Perris (perhaps originally intended for Knoxville and Big Orange country) somehow ended up in Alabama. My friend from Birmingham (who gifted me with one and got me hooked) had a dozen he got for next to nothing. He’s also down to around 3 or 4.
Let’s all go to Alabama!
