Does anyone have any info on this thing? For $1,000 the reviews seem to be pretty good. Couple of downsides to it that I have seen. Lousy sound quality (so I hear) but I am planning on getting the Soundblaster MP3+ external card anyway. 40 Gig drive is a little smaller than I’d like. The biggest off-put is some info I got from the sales manager at Circuit City, that being that the laptop is not compatible with the UK power grid and so I’d have to lug an adapter around with me (and low battery life, but you get that in all small laptops).
Information on Circuit City or CompUSA’s extended warranty plans is also welcome. I don’t really want to buy online, been there, done that, horrible customer support. I’ll pay the tax in exchange for being able to bring it to a store when I have trouble. Or maybe I will take a road trip to Oregon, land of the (tax) free and home of the brave!
