I’m off grid on a fishing trip and saw a text while driving through a bit cel service that the board was down. We hadn’t yet enabled monitoring so we didn’t catch it right away! Server was. rebooting for some maintenance and crashed the board in teh process. We now have monitoring turned on so we’ll know the second something like this happens!

I was just this moment in the used instrument exchange and it seems to be working just fine.
You have to click ‘all categories’ to see the link to it.
Yessir, I see it is back now. But shows it is locked.
That just means that only C&F members can use the Instruments Exchage. I just removed the lock icon to avoid confusion there.
I noticed that the “New” button doesn’t show Instrument Exchange posts in its results, even though they will be included in the number representing the new posts. Is that related to it being restricted to members?
Ah yes - I think that’s right. I just removed the “New” tab as it was mostly redundant anyways as Latest really give a birds eye view of the latest and newest topics. Also, the category page gives you a better view of latest and new statuses per group. Also just moved Instrument Exchange up in the order to make it easier to get to.
The removal of the New tab has an unfortunate side effect: you can’t get to the button that dismisses all the new topics that you aren’t interested in reading. If you want to clear the count of new topics after Latest, you have to read them all, or mute the category they are in.
It is puzzling that new threads in Instrument Exchange don’t show up in New or Latest, even though they contribute to the count of new topics.
