Online Fife and drum Museum

The Mullan Family from Northern Ireland are listing all their flutes on line. The have over 400 so it will take a bit of time to complete but their are some listed in the meantime. Their are flutes in all different pitches plus the flutes played by the World Champion bands. Enjoy

Great stuff, thanks David. Certainly some heavy armament among those Bb basses!

I see they link Henry Potter to the Richard Potter family, by making Henry Potter the son of William Henry Potter (who was Richard Potter’s son). But WH died rich but unmarried (some would say these conditions are linked, perhaps invariably).

Henry Potter is also given in other sources as the son of Sam Potter, of the Coldstream Guards.

Nice site, but for being the “Online Fife and Drum Museum”, a little shy on photos of actual fifes, just showing one, a Cooperman entry level maple model. Hope there’s more coming. :tantrum:

It says that at the start that their are over four hundred items and it will take time.

I cant wait to see the double f and double e flat flutes as iv’e never seen them.
