I do a bit of travelling. I carry a highland pipe case which can fit either of my full sets (B or D) w/ bellows and 4pc flute. HOWEVER, I carry my tina in it’s square case IN a napsack (with my water, Good & Plenty, and Grappling magazines:-) I’ve never had a problem w/ security @ the airports, and always tell the people at the gate I’ve got antique instruments and could I board early blalblbabla. no probs.
However…putting the tina it’s case in the napsack suddenly makes for extra bulky baggage. I’d just gotten the idea to check out a trombone soft case. I was thinking I could put everything in there. Has anyone who is cursed w/ playing & traveling w/ a trio of instruments checked this or other ideas out?
