On behalf of my fellow Canadians ...

… I sincerely apologise for this:

It has about as much to do with uilleann pipes as navel fluff has to do with World Peace.

Patrick… oh, nevermind…

Like I said earlier…‘the Dark Side’. However, the dark side of what, I’m not sure.

PJ, I’m famous for not getting things.

There was a discussion on the Whistle Forum about a hornpipe made by another company:

People seemed quite happy with them. Is it the materials or the company that makes this so bad? I don’t think plastic has to be a bad material for certain instruments. Do you think it is ugly? Well, maybe.

That’s an expensive wall-mounted instrument

D

Cynth, there’s nothing to get here… especially not the hornpipe!

I have no knowledge of these, but I think I’d be more inclined to try the new one than the traditional model.

:astonished: Yikes! Is that a shinbone he is playing from one of the nearby graves??

I believe it’s a double pibgorn, aka a hornpipe. Nice quiet setting. The residents probably don’t care how loud he plays. Actually, as I thinkabout it, cemetaries might be a good place to work on new tunes.

Yes, they are.
