It’s a combination of
a) being cutie-pies
b) coming in a set
c) lucky break of early tv gig. (which was a function of a & b.)
the question is whether they have any talent or skills which they can use to continue a successful entertainment empire, even when the cutie-pie thing wears off.
My dear lover of Fig Newtons, it just means that if enough people in the world buy their whatever-it-is-they-sell or go to their movie just because they’re cutie-pies, then they’ll get rich anyway!
Sadly, this is true – but I think you already knew that. I’m sure we can all name the super models, no-talent movie stars and others who make their fortunes because of their looks. And this type of thing doesn’t seem to be reserved strictly for the female gender.
May I remind you of the following people, and why they’re famous immediately following with a emoticon:
a) David Hasselhoff
b) Pamela Anderson
c) Howard Stern
I could go on and on about people - especially those in the “entertainment” business, and say the same thing… “These people have done ‘nothing’”. I mean, think about it - Ben Affleck… now, he’s not exactly a thespian, is he? And yet - the media spotlight, the millions to appear (not act, just ‘appear’) in pictures.
