I have a couple of antique flutes I am going to pull out of the closet. Would you recommend oiling them with Dr.s bore oil? They vary in quality and condition. I started playing one this week for ten minutes at a time just to break it in again. I don’t know if this is necessary but better safe than sorry? Also, my current flute has post set keys so I am really nervous about oiling it and oiling the pads and unsure about taking it apart. Those block keys make it pretty simple.
